Boston Wanted to Purchase PRCo 1775--1799???!!!?!?!?!!

Greetings!

	Just saw the note pg.34 *PCC From Coast to Coast* that Boston
considered the purchase of the GE-17s.  Anyone have more info?

	And do I remember rumors about PAT purchasing or leasing some Boston
PCCs for the Overbrook line sometime in the late 1970s or early 1980s?
