Using a toilet on PTM? Well, I guess if the customer is a railfan and doesn't want to
get off the car.
You know, the other day I was studying a picture of a Lehigh Valley Transit 800 class car
(maybe 806, 807 or 809 but certainly not 800 because the item in question was moved) and
noted that the toilet was at the rear of the car on left side, i.e. right over the third
rail beam! Seemed like an illuminating experience to me. Does anyone out there have
enough knowledge of the prewar 1949 LVT operations to know if toilets were locked when
running over the P&W?
