This is where my ignorance of the internet glarringly shows through .

I guess your telling me that I should go back to USGS website and try to 
come up with a link.  ok  Will give it a shot.

In meantime, had gone to terraserver, asked for Pittsburgh, then scrolled 
down couple pages, zoomed in to largest magnification, then followed 
Brookline Blvd. eastward, to Brookline Loop.  Old right of way was/is in 
wooded low ground just to south of housing east of Brookline Loop, and very 
quickly came out on Overbrook line at South Bank stop.  Knew it was South 
Bank because tunnel under P&WV is discernable just south of where busway 
joins Overbrook right of way.

Guess the thought was that it looks like such a natural - will soon be 
double track on Overbrook line, and double end LRVs means that stub-end 
terminal would be feasible at Brookline Blvd. and Pioner Ave.  Yet I've 
never seen this possibility ever mentioned.  Surely I can't be the only one 
aware that old Brookline prw still exists?
