This last image brings home the cold hard fact that in addition to the usual expenses and losses most
major transit systems had to contend with during the 1950s and  '60s, Pittsburgh Railways' infrastructure
would have given untold nightmares to the bean counters of most other systems of comparable size! How's
that for a run-on sentence?  Ken J.
