Fred,
This is a photo of C&O 4-8-4 614 taken on 9/28/80, on the B&O
Pittsburgh-Wheeling line, about 3/4 mile north of the Whitehall Tunnel
which goes under Rt. 51 near the old Howard Johnson's in Pleasant Hills.
Streets Run Rd. crossed the tracks at least five times, and was one of my
favorite photo locations. More of my steam photos there can be found on
the B&O page of the website.
I have about 3,000 photos on the Fallen Flags website, all with captions
(equipment number, date and location, and sometimes sidebar comments). Go
to <www.dnaco.net/~gelwood> and select one of the 200+ trolley or
railroad names, and you'll get the captions and photos.
If anyone's interested, I'd be happy to get photo prints or slides made
for them at cost plus tax and postage. Contact me off-line at
<brathke at juno.com>.
In the early 60's I spent many days photographing PRC/PAT routes 56 and
65. I'd usually start in Glenwood, and work my way out route 56 to
Lincoln Place, then go along route 65 and down the hill to Homestead for
route 55. Along the way I'd shoot whatever trains happened to be
running on the B&O's Wheeling line. I especially remember the rickety
deck and trolley tracks on the old Glenwood Bridge.

Don't miss the photo I took of CNR 4-8-4 6218 at Mariposa, Ont. It's
my favorite - see <http://gelwood.railfan.net/other/cn/cn-s6218t.jpg>.
