Subject: Verona Revisited!

Greetings!

Matt (MRB) had asked about the Verona line and I privately sent him
copies of our discussion about this line from way back!
I mentioned that the line was finally closed on 1952.07.03. I should
have clarified that and said that the *remnant* of the Verona line, the
78 Laketon shuttle, was closed on that 4th of July holiday. Obviously,
the Verona line itself was closed much earlier; Matt mentioned about
1931!
The shuttle should have gone at least as far as Snodders Switch to make
for another interesting destination sign!
