SHJ updated, including Bob Schmidt story

I have a photo of the Castle Shannon yard ... late 1940s or early 1950s ...
Labor Day weekend ... jammed with yellow cars and a few PCCs. They had to
keep those South Park (Library) extra cars somewhere. So we had the loop
above the junction and the materials yard at Shannon. Where did they keep
all the men? And who out there has first hand experience regarding the
number of cars that were dispatched to Library on the holiday? Did anyone
actually save a traffic department order covering one of those weekends?

Great to read about someone else who has first hand
knowledge of
activities on PRCo. The upper loop account for dispatching
cars as
County Fair Trippers is quite interesting.
