Sealed Beam Headlights

Greetings!
In an earlier post I had mentioned that I have a 1952 photo of 1700 in
Little Washington with a shiny dash and sealed-beam headlight. I
thought this was the first car to have the Golden Glow replaced with
sealed beam!
But a photo of 1724 turning from Grant to Liberty with a CHARLEROI sign
has to date from 1949-1951 and it, too, has a sealed beam headlight!
This photo is from the PTM booklet *Streetcars in the Golden Triangle.*
So it might pre-date the 1700 conversion to sealed beam.
So before the cut-back of the interurbans to within Allegheny County,
the first and last 17-PCC interurbans had sealed beam!
