Ozone & Smoke

I have both of these photos, printed either by Fred Schneider or me from the
original Wismer negatives. Let me assure that it wasn't the photographer
who monkeyed with the smoke! In the real thing, there's just a trace of
smoke coming from the stack, and a gorgeous plume of steam rising from a bit
farther back on the engine. Whoever "fixed" it ruined it.

The inside covers, both the front and back (end papers,)
of CERA 110 *West Penn Traction* show steam coming upgrade on a curve
and WP going the opposite direction, so that mustn't be the photo! Good
head of steam, though!
So you must be referring to the 2-page spread on 30--31 --
but the photographer took license by adding smoke coming from the stack
as well as the fire and steam from the pistons(?) near the drivers!
Tisn't the real thing, is it?!?!?!
