I never intended nor did I even *hint* that the increase in transit
fares is T-H-E standard by which to measure inflation -- it was
simply *por ejemplo!*
I.E., for example, mention was made that some PRCo real estate sold for
a certain price in 1950; that price seems artificially low. So look at
transit fares, por ejemplo - for example, - which have increased 10--25
times since 1950; use that as a G-U-I-D-E -- I A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y
N-E-V-E-R E-V-E-R S-A-I-D that this is the absolute standard by which
to measure inflation - I never even hinted that.
Honestly, I am on bended knee begging your forgiveness for even
mentioning anything about inflation! I was just trying to put things
into a tiny bit of perspective. I am only a stupid bus driver -- what
do I know about inflation.
Maybe somone needs a good dose of the prunes above.
