West Penn Today - We move on!

You could not have picked a better example then Allison, Derrick.

Ken J. - note the "old railroad grade" marked on this map that Derrick
selected. Your looking at the West Penn right-of-way heading towards
Brownsville. The right-of-way continues through the "1100" notation near top
of map and crosses highway 166 just above the top of the map (then goes
through school property and heads towards "high bridge"). Use blue triangle
to scroll up.

Just noticed. Look towards lower center of Allison topo map selected by
Derrick and note where West Penn right-of-way approaches Monongahela
Railroad right-of-way and crosses creek just above Allison. On left side of
your screen should appear option to go to Brownsville aerial photo. Do so,
then zoom in on aerial photo to creek north of Allison (the railroad and
highway will help) Do you see a bridge spanning the creek?? Your looking at
the West Penn bridge. (are these instructions making any sense?) Looks
like private property north of bridge, and Monongahela RR property at south
end of bridge. Would this be called "virtual railfanning"???

Enjoy

John S.
