The Hill photo seems to have been taken over the motorman's shoulder,
while the Smith photo was taken from the right side. However, the
motorman-side windshield wiper seems to be in exactly the same position
in both photos, although that could be a conincidence.
My first thought was that both photographers were taking pictures from
the front of the PCC at the same time. However, none of the automobiles
in either photo appear to be the same, so these photos may have been
taken at different times. I then thought that the two photos were taken
a few seconds apart, but It's unlikely that two different 98-Glassport
cars would be running within a few hundred feet of each other, isn't it?
Although this mystery may be unsolvable, there's a message here for
everyone taking photos today - put the camera location and date on EVERY
photo you take!
