Greetings!
THANKS for your efforts concerning seats! Can't imagine how much you
had to dig to find this! Now, what was the dates when the mohair was
changed out to leather or plastic? Just kidding!!
Looks like it was a test for wearability on the 10s nd 11s with a 50/50
mix which resulted in a decision to go all mohair on the 12s. Guess
that decision wore thin mighty fast since everything else arrived in
leather. How do you think original costs for mohair compared to
leather? That might have been cheaper since the 12s were all mohair.
It is amazing how clearly the trucks show on many of the early
photographs. I'll have to look more closely to see if I can see any
cars with the hubometers.
