Greetings!
I copied portions of many different PRCo videos onto one so I don't
know the original source, but several shots I would date to 1952--1955
clearly show the dual switch connection on the 44--48 to the back track
behind the admin building.
Information from Pat Healy, retired PRCo--PAT employee who is trusted
by PTM for information, indicates that 1620--1629 were originally
assigned to South Hills. Cars 1653 and 1657 are shown in this location,
they still have the golden glow headlights (which lasted into the late
1950s on a few cars), so this makes me assume the date. This period,
1952--1955, is when there were Car House closings which would cause a
shift in equipment. And some of the immediate surrounding scenes show
cars with temporary DRAKE signs which might indicate 1953 or later. The
date could be wrong, but it is something to go on!
Another very brief scene at SHJ shows 1600--herself outbound from the
tunnel. The date is *possibly* 1946.06.23, the very first PERC Charter
with car 1600 on 37, 38A, 38, 42, 13, 15, 10, 9.
