Ms. Hill dated this picture as January 27, 1967. Dameron and Company knew
streetcar service would continue out of Tunnel Carhouse for at least three more
years.

Perhaps the decision was made to keep this piece of trackage for repairs to a
section of special work elsewhere on the system. After all, even PTM has been
known to dig up an abandoned turning loop for use at Arden! Ken J.
