Nice recall, Bob, of a rare memory on the East Ohio St.raceway.
Cruikshanks probably called it quits when they, along with their
customers, found taking their lives in hand just wasn't worth the risk
as vehicular traffic inceased along with a total disregard for the 35
mph speed limit.

Speaking of Millvale. does anyone out there know of any photos posted,
or otherwise, of the Millvale yard showing the three workcars based and
operating out of, and within, that yard facility...namely yard crane
M282, rail crane M283, and the mod M701 flat car? By the time I was able
to afford a good 35mm camera, the PRC facility gave way to a by-pass
that created a narrow four-lane raceway between Pittsburgh and Etna.
