About Derails

Greetings

I have enjoyed the correspondence about the derail at South
Hills Jct.  The details reminded me of another derail on PRC.
This was on Fineview, an up-hill, fall-back spring derail.

Were there others?  Yonkers Ry (NY) had a similar up-hill,
fall-back derail on its oneway Elm & Walnut line.  Other places
had derails, often controlled by the Conductor standing on the
ground,  at steam railroad crossings.
