I don't want to discourage anything but I was up there two weeks ago and it
hasn't changed much since I lived there. Just a lot more run down than I
remember. Once away from Grandview Ave. it is an old inner city neighborhood
that is not being replenished. When buildings burn or are torn down the
empty lot remains, nothing appears to be rebuilt.
And the flat stretch of Grandview Ave., where the view is, has been taken
over by hot rodders at night.
Find a way to get streetcars up the FRONT of Mt. Washington, and NOT by
using the Roadway, and then maybe the business associations will get behind
it. Tourists don't want to go through the bad to get to the good. In the
meantime, it is a great dream and the makings of the next module.

. . .
Community support is needed - certainly the business association of
Mt.-Washington could see the advantages; understand that is a very nice
*gas-light* district with horse and buggy. Need some trolleycars to
complement those carriages.
Don't dismiss this as a pipe-dream - anything is possible - it will
be
made more probable as people participate.
