But Seriously

Just a thought. In all seriousness, the Muni Baby Tens are very
attractive looking PCCs despite that hidious front trolley pole (sorry,
Jim.)

Muni bypassed their stored Baby Tens to buy SEPTA cars for the F Line.
If Dale Laird is correct about Muni securing the option to purchase
Newark's ex-TCRT cars, then any Baby Tens still stored "on the pier"
must be *really* bad. Granted, the Newark cars are maintained in
exceptional condition, but to drag them cross country for use in San
Francisco says something about Muni's mothballed "native" cars.

Why not some El Paso PCCs? They don't have heaters, but then, who would
want to run a never rusted 60 year old PCC on the salted streets of
Pittsburgh during the winter? Ken J.
