Location anyone?

Has anybody bothered to ask Bill Volkmer? The photo is from his 
collection, and he is probably able to make out something of the destination 
sign.

Going by the maps:

The car is apparently just beginning to turn right from the line it has just 
come up. And it's a left-hand loop to the right of the line. That cuts down the 
field considerably.

Woods Run: 
Distinct possibility. Flat route, with a hill behind. That would be Woods Run 
Avenue in the background, just having turned left (i.e. to our right) to 
continue on.

Only one problem: namely, if the mud track we see in the foreground is a 
street, since the map shows nothing such. But if the street is actually to 
our right, where the man is standing by the signpost, then that would be 
Central Avenue. Virtually everything else seems to jibe.
