I have a folder, issued by PRCo, showing the then new 1000 series cars. It
clearly shows mohair seats. Perhaps Ed Lybarger has access to one of these
folders in the museum collection. I have to dig through the storage locker to
find my copy. I doubt that Cleveland Rlwy Co. would go to the expense of
replacing the seats. The exterior repainting was done to show the new paint
scheme designed by Raymond Lowey.
