Homewood Fire -- 1955.05.18

Greetings....

Two prominent "in service" work cars at the time, (M212, the old wooden,
bowed cab, Line Car, and  Rail Flat M701), were reportedly destroyed by
fire in 1955. Can anyone confirm  these two cars being part of the
Homewood Shops cremation inventory, or were they destroyed in totally
unrelated events?
Me and Charlie B., especially, will appreciate any light, (no pun
intended), you might shed on this matter. Thanks.
