Greetings!

http://davesrailpix.railfan.net/pitts/htm/wvp255.htm - where? The photo
caption says 21-line but this is entirely too flat! Can't make out
destination but it appears to be 68 which was long gone in 1962.02.05,
the listed date for the photo - possibly a railfan charter. Except for
the trolleycar, it doesn't even look like Pgh!

http://davesrailpix.railfan.net/pitts/htm/wvp325.htm interurban PCC 1618
at Library loop with SHANNON DRAKE sign is shortly after the cutback of
the interurbans in 1953. Note that 1618 still sports its spare trolley
pole strapped to the trolley cowl.

http://davesrailpix.railfan.net/pitts/htm/wvp327.htm shows 1624 at the
end of the 50-line with a low-floor behind it, possibly 5432. While
both might be a charter, it seems that 1624 is a bonafide revenue car.
It has a small sign in the front window that says *via Smithfield
Street.* The date of the photo is listed as 1956.09.08. Was this
during the reconstruction of Smithfield and Water to move the B&O to
Grant and realign the expressway? Was this a temporary reroute for that
reason?

http://davesrailpix.railfan.net/pitts/htm/wvp323.htm another rare photo
of a car signed for 78-Laketon!
