Don't know about the rails being buried...haven't been out there with a
metal detector lately (or ever)! But the PUC required removal of at least
the rail head when they granted the abandonment petition. I suspect you'd
find the base (and perhaps some of the web) still there. Marion Avenue is
not a thoroughfare that cries for frequent repaving to withstand the crush
of heavy traffic.
