This from the 1931 edition of the city topographic map, Sheet 12:
The Brady Street Bridge ended in Brady Street, a little less than halfway
from 22d to 23d Street. Trackage coming off the bridge turned west on
Wharton Street to 22d, then south to Carson, with curves eastward and
westward at 22d and Carson.
In the other direction, tracks from Carson Street east- and westbound
turned north on Brady Street and onto the bridge.
This corresponds with the routing shown on the PTM map, which shows the
street names incorrectly.
I have some further questions about South Side lines shown on the topo
map, but haven't time to formulate them just yet.
