Rt. 35  Car 1721  219p  at South Hills Jct.  Interior of car overheating.  
replaced by car 1718

Rt. 36 Car 1709  722a  outer terminus  on time leaving forced to pass up 
patrons from Inglewood to South Hills Jct.

Rt. 40  car 1666  934a  Rutledge and Republic  Road delay  oper stated while 
picking up passengers, he did not observe signal and proceeded onto single 
track, when he observed outbound car 1652, Tr. 1, opr. 2446 approaching at 
Grandview and Republic, backon on loop track to let outbound car to clear, 
then able to proceed.  Emergency inspected signals and found to be working 
properly.  Car arrived inbound South Hills jct. 12 min late at 10:02a.  Car 
1672, opr. 2464, sent inbound on time and late car sent to city.  

Rt. 53  Car 1244  912a  Brownsville & Arlington  Car dead.  pushed to sousth 
hills jct. by Route 47, Tr. 5 car 1651, opr. 209 with 12 min. running delay.  
#2 wheels, brakes unable to be released fully, #3 motor smoking.  Car 1231, 
opr. 2387 sent inbound from south hills jct. at 9:22 AM  

Next time we' ll visit Glenwood.

As Fred S. said, wouldn't it have been a treat to see a daily op. report from 
about 1945.   Wow.
