PRC Roof Headlights

Yes, I had always (starting in the late 50's) heard that the PRC roof
lights were Navy surplus.  I had also heard about the special gearing on
Fineview PCCs, but since that legend seems to have been disproved, I
thought I'd re-ask the headlight question.
