photos of PAT 1966 2nd Avenue rerouting that I described below. The page
also contains some other rail photos that I took recently, and that you
may or may not be interested in. Here are brief catptions for those
images:
AmtrakJanesville.jpeg - Taken on 6/23/00 at Deerfield, IL. This is
Amtrak's Lake Country Limited from Chicago to Janesville, WI. This photo
was taken at 8:45 PM, past sunset, in the rain, and the train was
traveling at 50MPH. I have no idea why the photo turned out.

Illinois Ry. Museum this August.

during the 1958 NMRA Convention in Pittsburgh in August, 1958. Detail is
visible if you can enlarge it.
OreBoatLoading.jpeg - Ore boat being loaded from hopper cars at the
dock at Marquette, MI on Lake Superior, September, 2000. This boat was
headed for Lake Erie, where the ore would be unloaded for Cleveland or
Pittsburgh.
