There are three pages devoted to the Nachod Type C signal. It does specify
how to pass the contactors and where to stop the car and what to look for,
however, does not mention anything about speed. The speed, of course, would
be covered under the speed directives.
There are 31 pages devoted to operation through all the various types of
signal systems.

We were always told by the training instructors (when I was a student
operator all the PCC car training instructors were former PRCo. men) that 5
MPH was the normal pace a person walked on a level, clear sidewalk.

It probably depended on which Route Foreman was on duty. Normally, the least
thing which was not exactly according to the rules was questioned. On time I
pulled up to the inbound stop (in front of the Route Foremans window) on a
Rt. 35 car and the switch you are referring to snapped over to allow me to
take the curve around the admin. building. I was going straight into the
tunnel, so I got out with the switch iron and set the point to go straight.
The Route Foreman came out and wanted to know if I had my hand on the 'track
switch' button. Normally they questioned everything out of the ordinary.
