Well, you've got to give them credit.....one college student did it on his own free
will. In Chicago, it usually was accomplished by having the voter escorted to the
booth by a 6'2", 250 pound man wearing a pearl grey fedora.
To get somewhat back on topic, I wonder if the other Milwaukee voting trick would
work? (i.e., handing out packs of cigarettes to transients, mental patients and
illegal aliens in exchange for a "yes" vote in favor of light rail transit.) We
could get the Drake line rebuilt and extended to Washington to meet the PTM cars
pronto! :-) Ken J.
