Greetings!
Excellent observation, Ken! Too bad you didn't think of it earlier so
you could scoot under the car to check when you were there for the Drake
festivities!!::>>)))
Other interurban evidence:::::::
- sealed mounting holes for the spare trolley pole
on the trolley cowl. Doubt that new metal
would be installed here.
- sealed mounting holes for retriever below the windows.
1613 had the trolley catcher reinstalled
above the windows in the latter 1950s -
don't know why. Trouble is, this location
for retriever could receive new metal -.
or mucho bondo!!::>>)))
- mounting holes for FM-radio on operators console.
- mounting holes for Ohmer fare register.
- Don't remember history of 1640 but if she never
received roof light and holes for such were
sealed, this would be more evidence for 1613!
