Greetings!

	Gleanings From *Trolley Fare*
		August--1965

"HIGH FLOOR FANTRIP ON JULY 17th."
	"BOTH SELL--OUT AND SUCCESS:"

"It wasn't too warm and we did manage to get some of the windows open
on M454, as we made our round trip to Emsworth. The car was antique,
and presented difficulties keeping clear of service cars, but we managed
and plodded slowly on, getting later and later. This limited our photo
stops somewhat, but if my own slides are anything to go by you should
have got some real classics. All too soon we were back on a PCC gliding
around Fineview, but I've got my appetite whetted, and will be riding on
both the August 15th and September 4th trips; see you there."
"In the evening an enjoyable trip showed the paces of one of PAT's
fastest cars, we not only had a photo stop but a soda, stop, a beer stop
and several necessity stops. The dark night was punctuated by the
sounds of punctured beer cans, track torpedoes and the whine of a
flat-out 1600-- also the activities of a super-market cart. So you
missed the fun this time? Don't miss our on our next fantrips."

My information shows that two 16s were used: 1635 & 1646.
