PRC PCC's at Keating in 1965

The PRC ownership question I raised earlier today was too intriguing to
postpone, so I checked my slides from early 1965, and found photos of
three 1400's behind the fence along the PRW at Keating. I shot these
three cars at exactly the same locations on 2/27/65 and 4/4/65:

1478 (1-Spring Garden)
1479 (1-Spring Garden)
1498 (11-East St.)

NONE of these cars has the white, "PAAC Owner..." sticker on the side.
Since PAT was extremely prompt in putting stickers on all operating cars
starting on 3/1/64, I suspect that these cars were not acquired by PAT,
and were on this storage track since at least early 1964. I also doubt
that the "1-Spring Garden" signs were on these cars since October, 1957 -
an employee or fan probably fiddled with the signs in the interim period.
And, as I said earlier, these three 1400's were removed from Keating
before it was closed in September, 1965.
