Same thing in Chicago. Spent two summers at North Park Garage.
Pull-in/Pull-out route for our north-south routes Sheridan Rd., Clark St.,
and Broadway was over Foster St., an east-west route which operated out of
Forest Glen. We didn't have rt. 92 Foster St. headsigns. Didn't use
cardboard signs either. But we would run over rt 92 with a 'short-turn'
headsign such as 36 Broadway/Foster and pick up any waiting passengers,
telling them where we were going. Most wanted to transfer to the 'el'.
Employee schedule specified route and times so that we would generally
supplement rt. 92 schedule. We were in-service at first bus stop after
leaving garage. Today that seems to have become a foreign concept amongst
Pa. public transit authorities.
Enjoyed the above about PRC operations. Thanks for saving PRC/PAT routing
sheets.
