Greetings! I dug out my Atwood-Coffee catalogues in search of answers
to Fred's questions. Here's their listing of Pittsburgh Railways
tokens:

Brass 16mm "P" PITTSBURGH RAILWAYS CO. (front) Good For One Fare 1
(back) issued in 1919

White Metal 16mm "P" PITTSBURGH RAILWAYS CO. (front) Good For One Fare 2
(back) issued in 1919

Brass 20mm triangle cut in center PITTSBURGH RAILWAYS CO. 1922 w/
streetcar (front) Good For One Fare 3 (back) issued in 1922

Steel (zinc-coated) 20mm pierced ball [I'm not sure what that means or
if I interpreted the symbols correctly] PITTSBURGH RAILWAYS CO. (front)
Good For One Fare (back) no issue date given

White Metal 20mm PITTSBURGH RAILWAY CO. w/ PCC streetcar (front) Token
Fare w PRC emblem (back) issued in 1949

There are several other Pittsburgh tokens listed, mostly pertaining to
inclines, bridges, ferries, and predecessor companies. Notably, there
is a white metal 16mm STEEL CITY TRANSIT LINES, INC. S.T.C. token issued
in 1948 for Pittsburgh but never used there.

I couldn't find any tokens for West Penn.

Hope that this has been of some help. As long as I've got the books
out, I'd be glad to look up any other tokens that anyone may have
questions about.

Charlie
