The Connellsville freight depot was right behind the two loop tracks at the
terminal.
I don't know what year it was torn down, but with the bank now invading the
terminal it is gone.
The Greensburg terminal is still there and not changed a great deal.
It would be hard to "lift" the WP cast stone logo set in the top front of the
building, both because it would be heavy and because the terminal is now the
police station
and petty theft is probably discourged.
I didn't mention that the Uniontown building is not a rectangle or square.
It is angled, with the stub track turning off the street and then the track
straight from that point on along the back of the building. The building is
like a wedge, with the front (the end with the lettering) much shorter than
the back of the building. The truck transfer side appears to have several
docks. There are some low industrial buildings behind
the frt. station and low scrub, bushes along the street just prior to where
the turnout is.
I was interested in Ed's comment about finding some evidence of track in
Brownsville that may have gone to a "freight station". That is interesting
too.
