Uniontown Freight & Old Passenger Terminals

Roof black, doors brown (roof brown). In my West Penn car I tried to make
the doors look more like stained wood than painted metal. I think I just
went over the orange body color with some floquil stain using a brush. You
have to be careful here because the floquil can attack the polyscale. I
remember it took a couple of coats to get the effect I wanted.

So what color were the West Penn 700 car doors?

Bob

Some notes on various topics:

4) I too am curious as to color choices of modelers for PRCo lowfloors.
Body, roof and doors.
