You mean one of those things that looks like a freeway ramp?

Somewhere I have photos of one of the "sisters" closed during the 1960s so
the trolley rails could be removed and roadway redone.

I also have some photos of some sort of work going on below the streetcar
tracks on the Smithfield Street Bridge. These were taken around 1970.

Scott Davis mentioned that there was a strictly enforced motor vehicle speed
limit on the Smithfield Street span, something like 25 miles per hour. Were
the streetcars restricted to that speed? Ken J.
