Folks:

First I want to say thanks!
Thanks to all of you who responded to the "Paint" questions. I
printed the responses and, if I can find them, I'll make good use of them
when painting my PCCs.
Thanks to John Swindler for digging out all that history and
relaying it to us.
And Thanks to whoever on the list is going to gather up all John's
history posts and publish them on a web site.

Second I want to say that the next installment of the SHJ Web page is ready
for viewing. That doesn't mean it is finished, it is like a model railroad
- it will never be finished. This time I worked on "the cars that passed
by" section and I got carried away. I think I'm on my way to a photo roster
of PRCo. I started with a couple roster lists (Thanks Bob Schmidt and Tom
Parkinson), and tried to find information and photos on each series of cars.
The first column (the numbers) is a link to info on that series. If I
couldn't locate any information there is no link. Some have a link but no
pictures. Any gap filling information you can supply will be added to the
site. So check it out -- http://www.voicenet.com/~shawncd/SHJ/carlist.htm

Third, I have to say I haven't finished laying track on the module - there
are still twomore pieces of rail to put down. I have to get to that. Once
the track is done I'll update that part of the web site.

Thanks again everyone.
Bob

Interesting question Bob - I have not looked at all my photos to establish a

pattern, but I'm building an Ashland O scale model - display only - as a
1500
and plan to
paint it as this photo shows. It is the easy way out.
