Wrong. The Spadina line closed on 10 October 1948, ending 
double-ended service in Toronto.

I had misremembered, thinking this closure was contemporary with 
that of Yonge Street. In fact it was North Yonge, not Yonge, that 
ceased the same day as Spadina.

BTW, to see a Toronto PCC operating in daily service in TTC colors 
you need go no farther than San Francisco. Am I wrong, Professor 
Holland?
