1) CERA "borrowed" its info from our Bob Brown, among others, and of course
got what the railfans wanted to believe rather than researched facts. And
their maps were pure guesswork in many instances.
2) I've worked with Ron for several years. He is very definite in what he
wants to present in his histories, and in how he wants to organize them.
Pittsburgh will be basically a rehash of the 1918 Snow Report (prepared by
the PSC in a valuation case for rate purposes) supplemented with some
newspaper material and presented with photos in hand.
3) West Penn cars were always referred to in the Coke Region as "orange."

True - but did you ever compare the text of CERA and the 2-PTM
(PRMA--1952 & 1973) publications on West Penn - almost identical, word
for word. CERA took from the PTM for their book - don't know what they
added new.

I shall be very honest - I am quite disappointed in the McKeesport book
and have strong reservations about any book on PRCo. I shall probably
purchase since it is my #1 system but I am very hesitant to do so.

Is this West Penn or PRCo low-floors or did they both use the same
Omaha orange. Never heard West Penn referred to as *Yellow Cars* --
only PRCo.
