	Some 1700--series cars were based at all barns from the mid--1950s on -
South Hills, Craft, Glenwood, Homewood, Keating, and Ingram - so it is
possible that 17s could be on these routes.  A look at Harold Smith's
books will reveal many 17s on the East End lines.
	I don't know about any restriction to 17s on the Flying Fraction  -- 
many 17s were on the 53 Carrick and 18th was the steepest portion of the
line so 17s could easily appear on the 77/54 as well.
