Some people wear themselves out trying to do things that are neither
needed nor asked for.  Marie is one of those people.  The actual help
needed "by the lord of the manor" is minimal at this point.  I cannot
drive ... perhaps for another month ... because of concerns that I might
not be able to move the legs fast enough in an emergency.  I can
perambulate around the house, climb steps, shower, shave, dress myself
... and I expect in another week I'll be able to fire up Mr. Deere and
cut the lawn.   Each day gets better.  I'm actually surprised at how
fast I am recovering from have two knees replaced.  Surgeon took the
staples out today ... Marie noted a big smile on his face ... recover
much faster than he anticipated.
