Greetings
Believe me. Manor was a poor place in 1950. Lots of unemployment. Adjacent
North Huntington Twp and Penn (Westmoreland) very poor rural. I know.
I enlisted over 30 of their residents in my National Guard unit.
Also, about Bob Brown. Bob was one of three founders of the Pgh Electric Ry
club.
He helped save the paycar. He helped found Arden. He was a signal engineer for
the PRR. He worked hard at the museum. I believe that he died enroute to Arden.
We have PTM today because Bob and others helped found it. His opinion on the
death of West Penn is his opinion. He did a good job for all of us.
