I actually drove someone home from work today who lives in Wilmerding, and we
came via Homestead High Level, Eighth Avenue thru Homestead, the Rankin bridge,
Braddock Avenue thru Rankin and Braddock. I then realized I was wrong about the
locale.
Route 64 had these wide open spaces followed by tight streets and tight turns,
didn't it? I never got the chance to ride on the line, but recall seeing it
from Route 30 many times as we travelled out to North Versailles by auto. There
was this bend that the Rt. 64 carline came down on into East Pittsburgh, that
almost reached out to Route 30. Great carline. Lots of twists, turns, great
industrial scenery.
