You remember the stops better then I do, Jim. Would also like to cast a
vote for Martin Villa.
Interesting picture on another account. Have become very suspicious of road
to right. Wondering if this roadway was originally the old Pittsburgh
Southern right of way to Bethel Church, Finleyville and (little) Washington,
and this site is where the Charleroi interurban joined Pittsburgh Southern
right of way. (do you really think even a narrow gauge railroad would have
this sort of 'S' curve?) The 38A to Clearview Loop was Pittsburgh Southern,
as Pittsburgh and Castle Shannon only extended to Arlington Station, located
in vicinity of parking lot of the Castle Shannon LRT station.
Note use of word 'suspicious'.
By chance, has anyone been snooping around the a plat maps in the Allegheny
County court house???????
