The Highland Park track piece was still there even after the apartment buidling
went up, but I do think it was removed a few years before the 71/73 carlines
were abandoned. There was even a track and line still in place that came down
Bunkerhill street and ran right into the curb, apparently at the point where the
track went into the old carhouse. I think it may have been kept as a stub to
get cars out of the way if another inbound 71 or 73 was not going to layover.
But, I do think that this picture looks more like Wilkinsburg, as you
suggested. I've a hunch you are correct.
