Well now, Jimbo...don't you know? Interurbans were the main thrust of the entire
traction industry, why, even the entire electric power generating industry. Never
mind those slow, pesky city cars and AC power purchasers! ;-) Just ask most
traction fans in my native Midwest. (Hee-hee-hee!!!) The world ended on January 21,
1963 and nothing else matters.....

Just understand, I want more than books on fan trips, rosters, dates and nice
photos...give me some "meat and potatoes!" Politics, borough versus borough versus
city versus state versus Pittsburgh Railways! The merger, the regulators, the power
brokers, the media, public perception. Economics, company policy, operations....the
really good stuff! :-)
