Not so. I had a run which started at South Hill Jct. around 2:30PM. I
deadheaded to downtown and came outbound as a 42-DORMONT (to the wye), turned
and went back downtown, then outbound as a 42/38A-MT LEBANON/CASTLE SHANNON.
This was the second piece of a two part swing run. There were several other
runs which also made daily use of the Dormont Wye both in the morning and
evening peak periods. I had that run in 1977 and other Dormont Wye runs in
'78 and '79.
