Note that the quotation states that the BTC president received permission 
from the board to purchase one car from St. Louis.  I don't see any claim or 
documentation that an order was actually placed with SLC.  However, I do see 
the quotation closing with much idle speculation.

That's not history. That's not even research.  All it is is..... (well, 
let's not go there).

PCC orders were given 1600 series SLC order numbers, and I don't see any 
post 1944 orders for BTC in the appendix VII of the Kashin/Demoro PCC book.  
Therefore, order never placed.  Further, quotation doesn't document that BTC 
president was authorized to place the purchase.  What was the date of the 
board meeting??  Or was that fabricated also?

As HHG once told me concerning a certain newsletter 'just stick with the 
facts'.

p.s.  maybe some of us act like s.o.b.'s too often, but we are trying to 
suggest that one needs to do their homework.
